Halloween Dog Tricks

Dressing up and decorating is part of Halloween festivities. So is trick or treat And taking photos and movies.

Board-and-train dogs will sometimes revisit me for boarding, updating behaviors, or learning tricks. When owners go on vacation, they send their dogs to me for updating skills or learning new tricks. Two very special pooches visit me often enough and feel like my extended family.

Nala is a beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer. She loves to stalk birds and lizards and the occasional cat. She also learned to bow during her recent trick board-and-train.

Nala is outgoing and not apprehensive when wearing costumes. She was comfortable enough when I put a collar on her to do her bow and pose for pictures.

She will be happy to keep her mouth opened, so I can get the treats to her faster. 🙂

Hendrix is Nala’s brother and he is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Hendrix is a little shy, but he put some bravery in his fur and learned to ring a desk bell.

He was a bit apprehensive about wearing a decorative Halloween collar, but he put his short-legged big boy pants on, and took it like a bossy Corgi. Then he posed for photos.
